What Prescription is right for me?
Finding the appropriate prescription type for you depends on your visual needs. In order to determine which prescription type you need; you can take a look at the prescription given to you by your optometrist.
If you have values indicated in the SPH, CYL or AXIS fields, and no value indicated in the ADD field, then single vision lenses are recommended for you.
If you have values indicated in the SPH, CYL or AXIS fields, and a value indicated in the ADD fields, then progressive lenses are recommended for you.
If your optometrist has recommended reading eyeglasses, they may have given you a prescription or simply recommended a certain strength ranging from +0.75 to +3.50. If you have a prescription for simple reading glasses, then you will find identical positive (+) values indicated in the SPH fields only.

How does VIZ get my prescription?
You can enter your prescription directly on the website, or you can upload your prescription, or you can email your prescription.
How do I read my prescription?
You do not necessarily need to read your prescription. If you are entering your prescription directly onto our website form, the fields shown will match the fields on your prescription. Simply enter the numbers into the correct spots making sure to key in the +/- characters alonig with the numbers. You can also email or fax your prescription and we can take it from there.
How long is my prescription valid for?
Two years from the date it was written, depending on the state that you are in. If you are unsure if your prescription is still valid, you can always place your order and provide us with your doctor information. If your doctor does not contact us to cancel your order within one business day of the prescription verification request, your current prescription will be used and your order will be processed and shipped. There are no restocking or cancellation fees if your order gets canceled.
WARRANTY
At VIZ, we believe in the quality of our eyewear and are committed to your satisfaction. We offer a 6-month warranty for manufacturer’s defects on the frame and the lenses on all eyewear purchased from VIZ.
Frames:
For eyewear frames, our warranty covers defects such as peeling or chipping on the finish, loose screws, defective hinges, and breakage due to a manufacturing defect. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper care and usage or atypical abuse of the frames, such as physical breakage or scratches caused by accidents or mishandling.
Lenses:
For eyewear lenses, the warranty covers coating defects such as peeling, cracking, or discoloration which are typically caused by manufacturing flaws within the lens. Although every VIZ lens comes with a scratch-resistant coating, lenses are highly susceptible to scratches and nicks. As such, the warranty does not cover scratches on lenses from regular wear and tear.
VIZ reserves the right to determine the nature of manufacturing defects and eligibility for replacement under warranty.
Under this warranty, if you've made an ordering mistake or simply aren't satisfied with the glasses, you can exchange them within the 30-day warranty period or receive a 100% refund to your original payment method less the shipping fee.
Glasses purchased with the Risk Free Warranty also qualify for a one-time replacement pair within 6 months of delivery, in the case of clear defects in material and workmanship.
The warranty does not extend to damages resulting from rough handling, excessive exposure to heat or cold, prolonged exposure to water, or improper cleaning techniques. Scratches on lenses are not considered a manufacturing error unless they are scratched upon arrival.

How do I know if an item is in stock, out of stock or no longer available?
The website is updated frequently and styles that are no longer available are removed; however, we currently do not list in stock out of stock items on our website. For particular requests please call customer service (877) 662-6006 or email hello@vizeyewear.com
How do I pay for my orders?
Is it safe to pay by credit card? For your security, we use an SSL and a company that has security protocols in place to process online payments.
How do I know if my online order was received?
All orders are received and processed within one day. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided.
Where are VIZ frames made?
VIZ frame developers individually select designs from all over the world so that we can provide the most fashion forward wearable frames to all of our customers. The place of manufacture is imprinted on each pair of glasses.
